Snowshoes of the Romp

Fundraising: Beneficiary

The Tubbs Romp to Stomp is a National Partner with Susan G. Komen for the Cure and has raised nearly one million dollars for the local Komen Affiliates since since the Series inception in 2003.

How are the funds raised and distributed?
100% of pledges and donations plus any sponsorship fees and participant registration fees (less event costs and expenses) from the Romp to Stomp benefit the local affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

There are two sources of funds generated by the Romp for Susan G. Komen. First, participants are encouraged to raise funds as a part of their involvement in the Romp to Stomp. All these funds go directly to Susan G. Komen.
Secondly, the Romp generates a certain amount of revenue through sponsorship, registration & t-shirt add-on fees. This revenue is totaled, total event expenses are subtracted, and the total proceeds are given back to Komen! We do our best to put on an exceptional, quality event series that minimizes expenses to ensure more funds go to Susan G. Komen.

Once the funds are totaled, how are the funds distributed?
75% will go directly to support the education and efforts of each local affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure that is associated with the Romp. The remaining 25% will support national research to help end breast cancer.

How are the funds used?
Susan G. Komen for the Cure's promise is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For more information please contact:
