Important Info about Online Registration & Donations
Thank you for your involvement with the 2010 Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series! For the 2010 series, we switched to a new, more user-friendly online registration and fundraising system. The system has gotten rave reviews so far; however, because it is so new, we're still working out a few little bugs. Please see below for information on a small error that we recently discovered regarding credit card transactions descriptions.
Credit Card Transaction Description Error:
If you registered online for the Romp or made a donation online, it is likely that the description of your credit card transaction was listed as K2 Sports/Full Tilt (instead of K2 Sports/Tubbs or Tubbs Romp to Stomp).
Rest assured your online registration & donation information is secure, that your registrations funds are safely with the Romp, and that your donation dollars will go directly to Susan G. Komen.
If you see a credit card transaction line item list K2 Sports/Full Tilt or K2 Sports/Tubbs it should match up with either an online Romp to Stomp registration or an online Romp to Stomp donation.
We apologize for any confusion this might have caused and appreciate your patience as we rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
Questions?
We understand that you might have more questions about this issue or about the how we distribute funds back to Susan G. Komen. Please use the following links to find out more from our FAQs section on the Romp to Stomp website!
Where does the funds raised at the Romp go? Where does my registration money go? How much of my donation or registration funds go back to Susan G. Komen for the CureĀ®?
Why doesn't my credit card transaction description indicate that my donation or registration is going directly to Susan G. Komen?
What is K2 Sports? Why does it say K2 Sports/Full Tilt?
Is my information secure? Where can I learn more about the online registration system?
Because I didn't recognize the charge, I have already disputed it with my credit card company, what should I do?
If you've already disputed the charge and your credit card company has credited you back your registration fee or donation, please contact your credit card company and they can re-charge the disputed term back to you. We are currently trying to get information to contact folks with disputed charges, but your help is much appreciated in contacting the credit card company to correct the charge first.
Please alert us if you disputed the charge by emailing romptostomp@tubbssnowshoes.com.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we navigate the new, powerful tools we've put in place for the 2010 series. These tools have already helped us increase our total fundraising and registrations and we are confident that in the long run the online changes we've introduced will help offer a better quality experience for Romp participants and enable us to raise more funds in the fight against breast cancer!
Thank you for your time and we'll see you at the Romp!
Sincerely,
Wendy Miller
