Forming a team is a great way to participate and fundraise with friends and family. Romp as a team in honor of a survivor, in memory of a friend or family member, dress up in fun team costumes, or try to raise the most donations of all the other teams.
A Romp Team is a group of 5 or more people (10 or more for Colorado) who participate in the Romp as a group. There isn’t a minimum fundraising requirement for teams, but we encourage each team to try and raise at least $500 (or at least $100 per team member).
Getting Started
It’s easy to set up and manage a team with the Romp online tools. First choose a captain for the team (and a co-captain if you’d like). Then, select a team name that best fits your group. Be sure to come up with an alternate in case another team has already used your first choice.
Once you’ve got a captain and a team name, the Team Captain should register by clicking the Form a Team Button
Team Captains
Besides getting a team started, the Team Captain ensures that everyone on the team registers, encourages team members to fundraise, can coordinate any group fundraising efforts, and keeps team members excited about their involvement in the Romp. Captains also have the option of picking up event materials for their entire team during the participant check-in process.

Form a Company Team
Forming a team with your co-workers (and their friends and family!) is a great way to build camaraderie, spread the “healthy lifestyle” message to employees and show your business’s support for the cause. With Romp to Stomp online tools, businesses and organizations can set up a Romp Team or set up an online Company Romp Page that serves as an umbrella for multiple teams within the same company. Post a link to the Company Romp to Stomp page on your business website to let your customers and clients know about your involvement and commitment to the fight against breast cancer.
Ask your Employer to become a Corporate Team Partner Whether you’ve formed a team of co-workers or just friends and family, you can get employer on board with supporting you passion for fighting breast cancer. Your business or employer can to you or your team at different levels and receive recognition at the Romp event.
